Week 2: Disappointing Defeats

Both A and N lost this week, A losing 153-138 and N losing 141-135. Both teams performed well, but the opponents were just too good. However, playoff hopes are still high for both, despite A's 0-2 start.

A: I think the main question from this week is how does someone score 153 points in one week? Somehow Davante Adams and Malik Nabers pulled it off for my cousin and I can't say I'm happy about it. In terms of my team, almost everyone underscored their projected points. This doesn't include DeVonta Smith (Go Birds even though they lost) and Chris Godwin, who carried my team this week. My favorite game was the Bengals-Chiefs, in which my Chiefs defense played well and caused my Bengals kicker to score 14 points total!

N: My team played really well this week, and I almost couldn't believe it when I checked the score and I had lost. My QB, RBs, and even my kicker all played extraordinarily well, combining for well over half my score. However, my opponent had too much firepower of her own. Marvin Harrison Jr. and Rashid Shaheed combined for 51 points, carrying her team to a grand total of 141 points.

A: Next week, my team has a bye, which is almost disappointing. We're projected to score 131 points, and no one in my lineup is injured—a rare occurrence given how many top players are sidelined right now. I will enjoy watching N's matchup and all of the games. Hoping the Eagles can pull off a win against the 2-0 Saints!

N: I am looking to bounce back next week against my dad, who sits at 1-1 with me. It is projected to be a tie, with his top weapons of JT and DK Metcalf matching up well against Hurts and Barkley. My lineup will be the same, as long as Aaron Jones (hip) plays.

Tune back next week for the results!
