Week 3: High Scores, No Rewards
Week 3 was an interesting one. N lost by 10 to our dad in a thrilling matchup that came down to Joe Burrow on Monday night, ending with a 136-126 loss. A had a bye but scored her all-time high with 142 points. Sadly, we both find ourselves again towards the bottom of the leaderboard.
A - My team dominated this week! Against...no one. In a sad turn of events, every player on my team had their best game to date, but I couldn't rub it in anyone's face. Lamar Jackson scored a whopping 27 points and Derrick Henry scored 31. My season is not looking great with a record of 0-2; however, if I can keep up the points like I did this week, I should have a great season ahead of me. I also got to watch a (slow) Eagles victory, so I am content.
N - Again, my team played very well this week. Saquon and Aaron Jones alone combined for over 60 points, with the rest of my team filling in the rest of the 126 points scored. I was confident going into Monday night, being up by 55 points. However, his combination of Burrow, Moss, and Kirk combined for 65 to barely beat me. I fall to 1-2 on the season.
A - I think my starting lineup is where I want it to be for next week. I am playing my uncle, who is also 0-2. Whoever loses this will officially be at the bottom of the leaderboard. My uncle's team features Kyler Murray and Jordan Mason, two positions I can outscore with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry or Bijan Robinson. Overall, I am excited for the weekend.
N - I am playing my 2-1 grandpa this week, who's team is headlined by Justin Jefferson, James Cook, and Stefon Diggs. ESPN projects me to win, but not by much. My starting lineup will be the same, barring any last-minute injuries, so hopefully they all have great games once again.
Thanks for reading and look forward to next week's results!
