Week 7: Dubs All Around

For the second week in a row, both A and N secured victories: A with a dominant 162-72 win and N with a clutch 144-141 win. The Eagles and the Broncos also won, solidifying this exhilarating week.

A - Lamar Jackson is maybe my favorite player on planet Earth, scoring 44 points in his win against Tampa Bay. Between him, Bijan Robinson, Derrick Henry, and the Texans defense, my team played amazingly. My only complaint is for DeVonta Smith to get more action, as his only contribution was one catch and negative yardage. Luckily, it did not impact my overall score. It also helped that my cousin performed horribly, with only 62 points. This brings my record to 4-2, in third place overall.

N - Once again, my team played an all-around solid game. Led by Jahmyr Gibbs's 33 points, My team had contributions from everyone (except Diontae Johnson) to win this one. This one came down to the wire, but I managed to get some clutch final points to win. If my eagles players can keep this up, my team may be able to pull off a comeback this season, despite the fact I am still under .500.

A - My one loss of the week was Chris Godwin, who dislocated his ankle and is likely out for the season. His 36 points last week will forever remain in my thoughts. Unfortunately, I removed him from my team and added David Njoku from the Browns. I am playing my aunt this week, who has not performed well this season. I am projected to win but may need to make some last-minute decisions as the injury reports are released.

N - Next week I go up against my 4-2 cousin, who's team is led by Kyren Williams and Amon-Ra St. Brown. I'm projected to win by 4, meaning this will be a close match. This is a must win for me if I want to keep my playoff hopes alive. This week will probably come down to monday night, which we have a combined 3 players playing.

As we near the midpoint of the season, these wins are getting more important! I'm predicting some playoff games in the future -- which is crazy to say after the disappointment of last season! Anyway, Go Birds, Go Broncos, and see you next week.
